Unlock the stories that have shaped the past by exploring a giant LEGO re-creation of Colorado history. The pro builders from the Colorado and Wyoming LEGO Users Group have created this sprawling concoction of Colorado scenes - both factful and fanciful.
And, they've left room for you to build too! While you're here, grab some bricks, construct your own take on Colorado's most iconic structures, and discover your inner builder.

For one night only, the ballroom of the Oxford Hotel transforms for Volunteers of America's Annual Red Wine & Seafood event! Fresh seafood and deserts will be provided by the Urban Farmer Denver, a modern, seasonally-driven restaurant that focuses on in-house whole animal butchering.
In addition to culinary masterpieces, expert wine pairings, there will be a silent auction featuring sports collectibles, weekend getaways, and more!
Proceeds benefit single, homeless women served at Volunteers of America Irving Street Women's Residence, a space helping women in our community who are facing homelessness or financially struggling to get the food, shelter, and caring support they need.

The Greater Sandhill Crane is an iconic species of the Yampa Valley. In late summer and early fall, hundreds of cranes from the Rocky Mountain flock join the local birds to rest and feed before continuing their journey south. The festival includes daily crane viewings, expert speakers, live raptors, films, art exhibits, workshops, family activities and more. All community activities and events are free unless otherwise indicated in the program!
Registration for the Yampa Valley Crane Festival begins Saturday, July 1 at www.coloradocranes.orgâÄč Many events are free and do not require registration. Certain activities, including guided crane viewing shuttles and events with limited space, will require advance registration and a nominal fee. These events are noted in the schedule. Be sure to register early as we expect these events to fill quickly.âÄč

Bring your 2 to 5 year olds for storytime in our Destination Colorado exhibit and learn about farms, cowboys and animals. We'll read stories and then have playtime in the exhibit before the museum opens. Free with admission!
